	Diane Greene, President Diane Greene is president of VMware, an independent subsidiary of EMC. As a founder of the company, Greene has led VMware since its inception in 1998. Under her direction VMware has pioneered the market for Intel-based virtualization software and has firmly established itself as the global leader in virtual infrastructure technology with more than 5,000 corporate customers worldwide, including 80 percent of the Fortune 100. Greene has more than 20 years of high tech industry experience including technical leadership positions at Silicon Graphics, Tandem, and Sybase and also as CEO of VXtreme. Greene holds a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering and master's degrees in computer science and naval architecture from the University of California at Berkeley and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, respectively.

	Paul Auvil, Chief Financial Officer Prior to joining VMware, Paul Auvil was chief financial officer of Vitria Technology, where he was responsible for all aspects of the software company's financial and administrative operations. He also led Vitria's successful initial public offering in the fall of 1999 and follow-on offering in the spring of 2000. Paul has 15+ years of experience working in rapidly growing high tech companies including VLSI, where he was vice president of the Internet and secure products division, with responsibility for all elements of the division's activities. He has a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from Dartmouth College and a master's degree in business administration from Northwestern University.

	Dr. Kieran Harty, Executive Vice President, Engineering Kieran Harty has led the R&D side of VMware since the company shipped its first product, VMware Workstation, in 1999. Harty has 15+ years of engineering and management experience with high tech companies. Harty was vice president of R&D at Inprise where he was responsible for the Visibroker product line. He served as Chief Scientist at TIBCO where he delivered mission-critical systems and products for the financial services and semiconductor manufacturing industries. Harty has a doctorate in computer science from Stanford University.
